- Fire – Call 911 first
- Carbon monoxide alarm sounding
- Burning smell
- Electrical issues (sparking, outages affecting safety, etc.)
- Gas smell
- Water that will not shut off (active flow—not a drip)
- Water leaking from ceiling or causing damage
- Sewage backup
- No heat or air conditioning (depending on outdoor temperature)
- Refrigerator not working
- No hot or cold water
- Toilet issues (if only one toilet in the unit)
- Entry door lock issues (locked out or unable to secure door)
- Clogged tub, sink, or toilet (if only one toilet)
- Rodents (bats, mice, bees)
- Elevator issues
- Building alarm activation

- Dripping faucets (unless leaking into cabinet below)

- Dishwasher not working or not cleaning properly
- Minor pest issues (beetles, centipedes, etc.)
- Electrical outlets not working
- Smoke detector batteries (resident responsibility; assistance available during office hours)
